Lessons
Martha is available for lessons at Rax Run Eventing in Purcellville, VA year round. The spacious outdoor arena has excellent footing and a full set of show jumps for use. A small cross country course and grass dressage arena allow those trailering in for lessons to work on a variety of skills. A comfortable gazebo for spectators creates a pleasant experience for everyone- those in the saddle and those on the ground.
Martha also travels to several other barns in the area for lessons and may be able to come to you. From Spring through Fall Martha makes frequent trips to facilities in the area for cross country schooling and is also available for clinics.
Boarding
Rax Run Eventing has several stalls available for boarding of students's horses and training or sale horses. Please see the boarding link to the left for more information on board rates and services.
Training
Martha is available for training and exercise rides on horses boarded at Rax Run and those wanting to trailer in. She also has limited availability to travel to your farm for training rides. Clients have varying needs from the occasional tune-up to full training. Martha collaborates with owners to set clear, productive, and attainable goals for training. She finds that this open communication between owner and trainer results in improved horses and satisfied owners.
Sales
If you are looking to buy a horse and need a professional eye to ensure the right match, Martha can guide you through the process of finding and trying horses, selecting the right one, vetting, price negotiation, and completion of the sale. Likewise, if you are ready to sell your horse and want the advantages that come with professional representation, Martha is here to assist you. Advertisement, fielding of inquiries, showing the horse to potential buyers, vetting, price negotiation, and completion of the sale are included. Rax Run charges a 10% commission off the sale or purchase price for these services.
Additional Services
Grooming Services- Body clipping, trimming, mane pulling, bathing, braiding, etc.
Trailering- .75 per mile, $40 minimum
