I can't believe it is already May and the show season is in full swing! I have completely failed to keep up with the results page this year, but I will fill in some highlights so far and then try to do better going forward! 2013 has welcomed several new partnerships- Emma is now riding Baladeer's Flight who is certainly "challenging" her on the flat, but is proving to be a fantastic jumping horse. Sam completed her first event at Loudoun with her new mount, Spike. Jessica G and Bill, our third new combo, won their first combined test together in March and were 2nd at their first event together in April! Our littlest Rax Run eventer- Sophie- aboard her pony Lacey also rocked the combined test at Loch Moy bringing home 1st place in their division. In April she completed her first event and stayed helmet side up the whole time!! Katie L and Martha have been traveling quite a bit with Danny, Casey, and Tarquin, having fair success at Southern Pines, Morven, and Fair Hill. Jessica W on Dolly, Jaclyn on Gidget, Maddie F on Wiz, Maddy J on Kinsale, Katie C on Mila, Megan S on Brittany, and Megan M on Tia have all been out doing well at shows so far this year as well. Ok, I think thats about it (sorry if I missed anyone!). Next weekend its off to Plantation!
